When things go way down deep!

Hi. I've been off radar lately. Haven't been updating my blog like i would want to due to time constrain. I know it's hols, but i'm busy working. Yeap, you got that right. I'm working at SEDC for the time being. Until 26th February and on the 27th I'll fly to Miri straight. So, what's new? Nothing much. The 2 best friends celebrated my birthday with me. They bought me this awesome necklace with a "B" pendant with crown details on it. It's an insight joke for us, but yea, i still love it. It's like a lucky charm for me now. I have the awesomest friends in the world! Speaking of which, they went out behind my back just to get me the present. awwwwwwww.. You guys rock and i love you! My 2 favourite girls, Raula and Nadea. It hasn't been the best 2 weeks of my life. I'm so not use to not having my dad around.

So, referring to the title above (damn i sound so formal), I'm the type of person who would get all obsessed with something if i find it uberly interesting. But it's not everyday i feel that way. It so happens that my current obsession is.. (i know, i know, everyone will go, "hm.. isn't that a surprise") Twilight. I recently finished the whole Saga, including the unpublished Midnight Sun. I find it interesting and the movie is okay, not bad. Missing a few details here and there, plus changes made here n there, but still, it's a great movie non the less, although it would be perfectly awesome if it was played by the book!

I've been active on twitter lately. Been following E!online. And this morning, something pissed me off real bad! (No, not the Tiger Woods drama, i mean seriously, come on! Like, WHO CARES!) This article caught my attention! It was somehow making sense. If box office blockbusters don't make the cut on Golden Globe or the Oscars, then what's the whole point of breaking the record on highest earnings on the opening day for a movie? Seriously? Doesn't that count in determining the nominations? Well, at least a few other awards if the best actor and best actress isn't in order for. But then again, come to think of it, it's not the movie of the century, it's just a phenomenon. Something that people went crackers for. Still, it didn't deserved to be criticized so bad. Tell me you went to watch it and not felt all loopy. Seriously? Somehow, somewhere there is a part that you like, a part you went bonkers about. True? And still people think it's not worth watching. Oh well, movies are subjective, it depends on people's interests.

And here i am in a dilemma. Should i or should i not? I don't know.

A dream is a wish your heart makes... when you're fast asleep.

I had a pretty good presentation today. Lovesit! Last night i had the weirdest dream i've ever thought i would have. But then again, now i don't remember much. It had something to do with Nelson? HA!!!!!!! told you it was weird. Something about him running around thinking about Economics and Mr Abey. Of all things to dream about. the most random person. I think at one point he was shouting for Dilhani's name. HAHAHAHAHA...

One of the group presenting just now was very entertaining. They drew a tree on the white board and it represented an organization. Fertilizer represented ABC (activity based costing). And the explanation goes on and on. It was funny. Nice one boys!

My kidney, gallbladder and back bone is really giving me problems! Pain!!! Sometimes too much to handle. But everything happens for a reason. Allah SWT is probably just trying my patience to his obstacles. I know i am not strong enough to overcome this alone, but i will try my best.

Hehehehehe.. Last night while doing final touch on my presentation report, i was watching this movie..

I was so intrigued by the movie and made me think the sacrifice made by our ancestors, the killings and invasion of country. Why was this needed? I don't understand the purpose and reason of war. Does killing people give you the pleasure? It's just sad. Why can't we just live in peace? I think war is just bullshit.

Another movie i just can't wait to watch is..



Baby Love is gonna buy me the dvd today! Thanks baby! Hehehe.. but i'm afraid after watching this, i might want to shop also. This is hard.. I'll restrain myself somehow. =)

FINALLY

I know i know, i haven't been updating my blog for like a loooooooooooooong time. Been busy lately. Currently having Summer Course doing only one unit and it drives me nuts at some point.

I know i'm late to say this (more like 21 days late), but

WELCOME 2009!!!

Well, the unit i am doing doesn't include any mid-terms, thank god. The weird thing is, when studying in semesters, i get super lazy and stuff, but when it comes to 1 unit in 1 month, OMG i can't believe how hardworking i can be. Now that i'm clear on what i want in life, i choose to go for it full speed. All i want is to graduate as soon as possible, get my degrees in honor and yes! get a job with good salary, enough to support myself. Believe me i need to learn to do that. Live on limited cash. I'm trying, slowly. Baby steps mi cherie, baby steps.

Anyway, hopefully i'll get myself clean off my bad habits. I've been having fever for 3 days now and hopefully i'll recover properly starting next week. Perdisco needs to be done before 30th and i know i can do it. Just that i want to go back Kch for Chinese New Year but looks like i can't. Wan visited last week to settle his Villa application and also visit yours truly for awhile. Awwwww... isn't he sweet right? The night before he left we had dinner in SoHo with Agnes and Zaza, an early birthday present for Agnes. Before he left also, Gala, Ezuan and i went to the cinema watching Yes Man (poor baby had to watch the movie 3 times) and i bought 3 dvd's which only 2 is worth watching. Wild Child is pretty cool (as van and abby agrees, i love watching teen flicks) and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 is very heart warming. Love it. Unfortunately Bedtime Stories is a total disappointment. Seriously? What kind of movie is that? Dumb much??? AND THE BEST OF ALL.. Gossip Girl keeps viewers intrigued and anticipates for the next episode. Never a let down that one. I pretty much talk about movies and drama's here huh?

2 weeks ago the campus lake overflowed due to the constant heavy rain and drainage system problem. We even had a massive blackout here in campus. Some idiots went stealing the high voltage electric cable. WTF??? And apparently there's landslide also in Miri? OMG! Nature's pissed off at us huh? And also, i just figured why on earth does Curtin not have a back up generator for the whole campus including hostel ground. I mean COME ON! We are the INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY can we at least get that for back up if no external power supplied! Goodness Gracious! UN-Believable! What's worst is that the weather is so bad, the pathway from lakeside to campus ground is under water. Holy Ballooney! One good part is that we have a new Cafe in lakeside grounds called Bamboo's Hut. Not bad really. The food is okay. =) So anyway..

My resolutions for the year 2009 is (more like To-Do list) :-

1. At least get a 6(credit) for all units taken. Upgrade my average to a 60.

2. Ignore all un-needed drama.

3. Spend according to my budget.

4. Stop certain activities. (*winks* u know what i mean)

5. Keep myself constantly hardworking on my studies.

6. Train myself to be a clean freak. (well, not too much or i'll be like Monk)

7. Keep my family together.

8. Try not to over use my phone bill.

9. Slow down on the shopping habit.

10. Meet Ezuan's parents.

Day OUT

Last wednesday i went out with my cousins and yes, we watched movies. not watch A movie, but movies. Wednesday, normally they have special rates for the tickets and at first, our original plan was to watch only one movie, but then after we decided to watch another right after the first one finished. We went to watch Wanted at first.



She's so cool!



Even my boyfriend is in love with her.





Me, Nina, Nora and the boys - Shah and Ehan. I miss them already. They're my favourite cousins! Shah and Ehan are like our bodyguards. And they're the reason we can actually finish our food! Oh yea.. and right after the movie Wanted finished, which was at 4.45 pm, we decided to watch Get Smart since it's starting at 5 pm.



I haven't been out with my cousins like that for a long long time. The last time i remembered we all went out like that was when my late mom was still alive. It was a really family bonding day. And i like it. I'm so looking forward for all of us to have our holidays at the same time again.

Way to kill boredom

It's been only 2 weeks, and i'm so very very bored. Seriously... The only way i deal with it is watch movies all day. Seriously! I have this thing about watching movies over and over again and do not get bored with it. Well, certain movies and series though. Heroes, i can only watch twice, third time? Bores me already. Gossip Girl, still under consideration. But the movie that i actually still love to watch and i memorize the script is The Parent Trap, the one with Lindsay Lohan in it, well, that time she was still innocent.



And there's my obsession on disney movies. I am such a little girl. I'm turning 20 for god sake, and i'm still 15 inside. My all time favourite would be, the one and only, Cinderella!



Classic! And of course, there are other disney princesses movies that i like...

Snow White and the seven dwarfs!

Series or dramas that i watch often or constantly are Gossip Girl and How i met your mother! Gossip girl, me, abby, van and dira, we were crazy about the series. I think even Sarah Jane is too. We always made sure one of us downloaded the upcoming episode and not be left behind. Funny how we could be so into it.

Serena Van der Woodsen. Everyone's favourite IT girl, and she's my favourite too. Blake Lively played her part perfectly!



Blair Waldorf. The Queen B! Everyone is a subject in the movie of her life. Bitchy miss Leighton Meester. Perfect! Right B?



Nathanial Archibald. Can't seem to figure out who he loves most and always in the middle of a family drama. Poor Chace Crawford. Even his personal off-screen life is always rocky.



Charles Bass. You're Chuck Bass? Nice scarf, sex is not the only sport you know! Hottie Ed Westwick.

Other cast members like Dan Humphrey played by Penn Badgley, Jenny Humphrey played by Taylor Momsen and Vanessa Abrams played by Jessica Szohr, The series would not be complete without them. I love GOSSIP GIRL! voiced by Kristen Bell. DRAMA!!!

Away from drama, to the comedy side, How I Met Your Mother! Love it! Narrated by Ted Mosby, played by Josh Randor. It's sometimes stupid but still funny as hell!



I didn't get the chance to watch it before during semester period, so i watched the whole season during this holiday. Love season 2. You should watch it. Can't wait to get season 3 from Hoe or Dinesh.
